Vyksa Steel increases pipe shipments

Vyksa Steel Works has released their operating results for January to September 2009. Since the beginning of the year, VSW produced 1,137,427tns of pipes of different sizes as compared with 1,105,962tns in 9 months last year. In September 2009, VSW produced 143,706tns of pipes, a 30% increase in rates in August 2008. VSW produced 96,047tns of large diameter pipes, a 51% increase in production compared with September 2008. For the first time in the history of VMP, one shop has shipped 102,918tns. In January to September LDP production was 707,664tns, representing a 30% increase over the same period in 2008.
