A pre-feasibility study on building the 2000MW nuclear power plant either in Ninh Phuoc or Ninh Hai has been submitted to the Vietnam government by a national energy agency. The total investment for it is USD 3.4 billion. A partner for the project has yet to be selected and several more international meetings are planned in the near future.
