Vestas receives turbine contract

Vestas Central Europe has received an order for 17 V112-3.0MW turbines from Windpark Groß Eilstorf. The turbines will be installed at the Groß Eilstorf Wind Farm in Lower Saxony, Germany. The Groß Eilstorf Wind Farm has a total capacity of 51MW. Vestas will be responsible for supplying, installing and commissioning the turbines, foundations and a VestasOnline Business SCADA system. The contract also includes a 15 year service agreement. Installation is set for 2011.
