Vallourec signs a partnership agreement with NEXTCHEM

Vallourec and NextChem Tech have entered into a partnership agreement with the goal of integrating Vallourec’s Delphy hydrogen storage solution. The collaboration will entail a comprehensive examination of the integration of the Delphy storage solution into green hydrogen projects in which NEXTCHEM is actively involved. Emphasis will be placed on exploring synergies between NEXTCHEM’s leading green ammonia production technologies and Vallourec’s high-capacity hydrogen storage capabilities.

This partnership signifies a significant advancement for Vallourec in the deployment of its Delphy solution within the hydrogen storage market. Delphy, a large-scale vertical solution developed by Vallourec, offers an underground system capable of securely storing up to 100 tonnes of gaseous hydrogen. Designed to meet the needs of green hydrogen producers and users in industrial applications and heavy mobility, Delphy establishes Vallourec as a prominent player in the hydrogen value chain and contributes significantly to global carbon reduction efforts.
