Gail and Uzbek government-owned holding company Uzbekneftegaz, who recently signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) to jointly set up cooking gas plants in Uzbekistan, are expected to work out the details shortly. The plant will be set up with a capacity of producing 100,000 tonnes of the fuel per annum. Under the MoA, the two companies will jointly undertake exploration and production, gas processing, petrochemicals and manpower training. Uzbekneftegaz will also provide details of exploration opportunities in that country.
