Using stainless steel in art creations

Worldwide hundreds of artists choose stainless steel to immortalize their creations. Stainless steel has a relevant role in the sculpting field, since modern artists are aware of its properties and applications. Di Martino, Brazilian company, transforms the stainless steel wire rod manufactured by Roldan S.A. and supplied by Acerinox do Brasil Representaçoes Ltda., into cold drawn wire to manufacture its stainless steel mesh.

Di Martino supplies both wire and stainless steel mesh to sculptors and artists to create their works. This study of architecture, in its “Vivo” project whose purpose was to humanize a technology building owned by Telefónica Group Brazil in Sao Paulo, created a sculpture with stainless steel cables connected to the pendulums and these in turn to the tower in order, to represent how communication connects all of us.
