Alliance Engineering, a subsidiary of international energy services company John Wood Group PLC, has been awarded a contract from Texas Gas Transmission LLC, a subsidiary of Boardwalk Pipeline Partners LP, to provide the engineering and design for the construction of two compressor stations. The stations will serve two expansion pipelines transporting gas from the Fayetteville Shale area in Arkansas. One station will be constructed at Bald Knob, near Russell, Arkansas, to serve the 165mi, 36in Fayetteville lateral. The second station will be constructed at Isola, Mississippi, serving the 95mi, 36in Greenville lateral. Both Texas Gas laterals are expected to be in service during the first quarter of 2009.
