Uprated dosing pump

The MRoy range of dosing pumps has been extended with the introduction of the XB model, a hydraulically actuated diaphragm pump which delivers flow rates up to 310 litre/h and maximum pressures of 105bar. These new models are fully interchangeable with other models in the MRoy range, so retrofitting them into existing process systems is possible. Available through dosing pump specialists Milton Roy UK, the XB model provides a more compact and competitively priced option of this versatile and robust industrial pump. Features include adjustable flow while running or stopped from 0 to 100% of the nominal flow, accuracy within the range 10 to 100% of the nominal flow +/-1% and a capability of handling pumped fluids at +90C for the metallic liquid end version and +50C for the plastic liquid end option.
MRoy XB pumps also include features that are designed to maximise savings on installation and maintenance such as, a built-in relief valve to prevent pump damage If the discharge system becomes blocked during operation and a built-in drain to enable easy priming.
Automatic air venting maintains the pumps repetitive accuracy in long service operation while an integral oil bath lubricates and protects the pumps moving parts to ensure optimum efficiency during continuous heavy-duty operation.
XB pumps, which depending on options can comply with API 675, are available as compact duplex version, with two heads of the same or different performance and construction.
Materials of construction are cast iron housing, with liquid end body construction, check valve cartridge and seats all available in PVC or 316L stainless steel. To suit specific applications other liquid end materials are offered, for example Alloy 20, with springs in Hastelloy C for sulphuric acid.
