UPM approved for laser machining/cutting

After a recent audit, United Performance Metals was approved to perform laser machining/cutting for General Electric and its sub-tier providers. As a result of the audit, United Performance Metals was awarded a GE Transportation Aviation Special Process Certification for Laser Machining/Cutting (EE02, S-422).
Darryl Staton, Director of Quality Assurance, said: “While the certification is important to our customers, we welcomed the audit as an opportunity to confirm that our processes and procedures support the highest level of quality.”
