The UK’s Exports Credits Guarantee Department has sent members of its Oil, Gas & Petrochemical team on a ten-day fact finding visit to Iran this month to promote opportunities for UK exporters. The department’s representatives were invited to visit the country by the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) of Iran. While there, they travelled to petrochemical plants and sites under development in Mahrshahr, Assalouyeh and Isfahan and talked to major Iranian oil, gas and petrochemical companies about the significant prospects available for UK-based companies.
