UK North Sea: subsea contract for Technip

Technip has announced that one of its UK entities, Technip Offshore UK Limited, has been awarded a contract, worth in the region of EUR 37 million, by Amerada Hess Limited to provide subsea services management for its Ivanhoe, Rob Roy, Hudson, Triton, Fife, Flora, Fergus and Angus assets located in the UK North Sea. Technip will provide Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) and engineering and execution services to Amerada Hess over three years. The scope of the contract requires Technip to manage all engineering aspects related to AHL’s subsea infrastructure from wellhead to topside interface. Technip will carry out work that will aim to maximise the performance of AHL’s subsea facilities. and will be responsible for all project management, subsea construction and IRM operations. It will utilise the capabilities of the Alliance vessel, its Diving Support Vessel (DSV) for all IRM works, with third party survey vessels and other vessels from the Technip fleet providing assistance when necessary. Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants Limited will provide the engineering support including front-end engineering and design capabilities for specialist engineering works.
