With effect from 1 October 2003, Uhde GmbH, Dortmund, will acquire a shareholding in Chemgineering Holding AG, Muttenz (near Basel), Switzerland. At the same time the Chemgineering Group will take over the business of Uhde-Pharma Consult (Heidelberg, Garmany), who specialise in the planning of pharmaceutical solid dosage facilities. This investment will create the basis for international strategic co-operation between the two complementary partners in major projects.
