Turbine flow sensor

The new Kobold DRS Turbine flow sensor features: a flow range of 0.6 – 10.5GPM; accuracy of +/- 1.5% of full scale; plastic, brass or stainless steel construction; and RTD output for flow and temperature measurement (optional). Typical applications include: monitoring flows in process cooling loops; measuring/monitoring of mild chemical solutions in the electronics industry; monitoring water/mild chemical solutions in mobile farm equipment; and water dispensing applications. The DRS also features a vane-axial turbine design with imbedded permanent magnets and Hall effect sensor. This allows both clear and opaque liquids to be metered. In addition to the flow signal, an optional Pt-100 RTD output is available to provide temperature as well as flow measurement.
