BJ Tubular Services has been awarded a multi-million pound contract by Talisman Energy (UK) Limited to provide a range of well services in the UK sector of the North Sea. The contract requires BJ Tubular Services to carry out casing and tubing running services on all Talisman Energy-operated assets located in the UK sector of the North Sea. The three-year contract includes two one-year options to renew. Already, BJ has commenced operations on behalf of Talisman and plans to complete the contract in July 2006. “This expanded contract award from Talisman represents the first time that we will have worked directly for them, although we have previously provided our services on their Clyde and Beatrice operations,” said Neil Gordon, general manager of BJ Tubular Services. “We look forward to providing that same standard of service and efficiency on all of the Talisman assets in the North Sea,” he added.
