Tubacex secures a € 40M contract from Petrobras

Tubacex, a pioneer in advanced industrial solutions for the energy and mobility sectors, has been awarded a new strategic contract by Petrobras for the supply of premium materials to support gas extraction operations. This contract, valued at € 40M, further strengthens Tubacex’s positioning as a key supplier of corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA) OCTG solutions for Petrobras’ offshore developments. 

The agreement includes the supply of CRA OCTG tubes, premium connections, and related accessories tailored to meet the specific requirements of Petrobras’ high-performance gas extraction operations. Additionally, the contract encompasses a comprehensive suite of associated services, including logistics, inventory management, dispatch-to-well solutions, repair services, and technical assistance during the installation phase. This reinforces Tubacex’s capability to deliver end-to-end project management for complex energy sector applications. 

The new contract aligns with Petrobras’ 2025-2029 strategic plan, which prioritizes investment in exploration and production (E&P), allocating 65% of its CAPEX to pre-salt projects known for their high productivity and competitiveness. 

The contract further solidifies Tubacex’s global footprint as a preferred partner in the energy sector, reinforcing its long-term growth strategy through high-value, technologically advanced solutions.
