Tubacex has announced the attainment of the API Spec Q1 certification, awarded by the American Petroleum Institute (API), for its state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Abu Dhabi. This milestone makes it the second Tubacex facility worldwide to achieve this prestigious certification, reinforcing the company’s commitment to quality and operational excellence in the gas sector.
This certification enables the Abu Dhabi plant to commence operations and sales, encompassing manufacturing and finishing activities for tubular products, including mechanical operations, machining, threading, and coating. It represents a significant step toward fulfilling Tubacex’s contract with ADNOC, providing high-quality tubular solutions for gas extraction and production, and strengthening the company’s position in the Middle East region.
Strategically located in the KEZAD industrial area, the Tubacex Abu Dhabi plant aligns with the UAE’s “Make it in the Emirates” initiative, aimed at fostering local industrial growth and high-value manufacturing. Currently, in the final stages of construction, this facility will enhance Tubacex’s regional footprint and boost its supply capabilities in the Middle East.
