TUBACEX Foundation promotes education

TUBACEX is taking a step forward to promote education in schools in Palghar (India), dual training programs to adapt vocational training to the real needs of the Company and a plan to integrate differently abled people in the Tubacex Group’s workforce.

TUBACEX has launched its first community social action to benefit children, to promote education through access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) in 1,257 schools in the region. This program, developed in cooperation with UNICEF, is intended to become a participatory program, whereby all employees, clients, suppliers and TUBACEX stakeholders may join to deliver a program built by and for everyone.

Apart from this three-year social action program, TUBACEX is promoting a dual training model, an innovative model that adapts vocational training to the real needs of the Company. This program represents an opportunity for young people to alternate learning in the classroom with specific training and internships in the company, promoting their education and their employability.
