Trafilix orders CTDM from Danieli

Trafilix, the Lucefin Group Steel Division’s original company, has recently placed an order with Danieli Centro Maskin for a new Chain Track Drawing Machine (CTDM), to increase its production plant capabilities.

In the present difficult scenario for the steel industry, the major cold-finished bar producer is treating, controlling and supplying its customers with the widest range of cold-drawn, peeled-reeled and ground steel bars from carbon to specialty grades, mould and tool steels, stainless and high-alloy steels in more than 300 sizes. These include special profiles; with the best product tolerances (h9 and h11) and quality surfaces, and straightness, NDT tested, adopting the quick-supply formula: products are available for delivery within 24 hours from order, if required.

For Danieli Centro Maskin this new order represents an important new entry for its global reference list, which includes more than 60 cold drawing plants where the Chain Track Drawing technology is applied.

“We take care of every single detail to obtain a perfect product”, Trafilix said. A long-standing partnership with the Danieli Group, convinced Trafilix to invest in a machine capable of working continuously, reducing the material handling times, increasing the yield of the plant and reducing the excess time needed for machine set-ups and adjustments.
