TPREL signs a PDA with Mukand

Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL) and Mukand have entered into a power delivery agreement (PDA) for a 43.75MW AC group captive solar project in Maharashtra, India.

The facility is situated in the town of Jamkhed and is expected to produce 99.82 million stainless steel units per year and offset more than 54,687 tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually.

The plant’s goal is to meet Mukand’s increasing energy needs, as well as contribute to greener steel manufacturing procedures and production in the country.

The group captive solar power facility will be built, operated, and maintained by TPREL.

The project is scheduled for completion in March next year.
