Titanium sector developing in France

MetaFensch, Safran, Aubert & Duval and Erasteel have recently signed multiple research contracts in order to develop the titanium sector of tomorrow in France. They have decided to combine their various skills in order to further develop this important field: melting, recycling and atomization for Aubert & Duval and Erasteel; titanium alloy specifications and additive manufacturing for Safran; semi-industrial scale research and development for MetaFensch. In order to create a French center of excellence in this field, MetaFensch has invested in two semi-industrial furnaces: one for titanium melting and recycling, the other for atomizing titanium into powder.
