TISCO raises stainless export prices

China’s Taiyuan Iron & Steel Group has increased the export prices of its stainless steel products for the South Korean market. The cost of 304 series stainless steel has increased by USD 50 per tonne and the cost of 430 series cold rolled stainless steel has increased by USD 30 per tonne. The increase comes as a result of the currently rising nickel prices; it is a reflection of the higher production costs.
