TISCO achieved a significant increase in duplex steel production for 2010, producing a total development amount of 1000tns. This is an increase by 66% compared to 2009, fully replacing imported products. This breakthrough signifies that new product development, production process, technical management, product quality and other aspects of TISCO duplex stainless steel have risen to a new level. TISCO steel products were widely used in the shipbuilding, nuclear power and petrochemical industry for 2010; the company also successfully developed new S32101 duplex stainless steel products for chemical tankers.
