ThyssenKrupp takes over operations of Schaumann

ThyssenKrupp MillServices & Systems expanded its range of services on the site of the Duisburg steel mill of ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe. From April 2014, ThyssenKrupp is taking over the entire operations of the Duisburg-based competitor Schaumann. This includes all the 44 employees working there.
“We are happy to have again extended our line-up of services and to take over the entire workforce”, says Jörg Schürmann, chairman of ThyssenKrupp MillServices & Systems Management Board. Besides the employees, ThyssenKrupp MilllServices & Systems is also acquiring the workshop and adjacent employee facilities plus the complete fleet for Schaumann’s in-plant logistics. The equipment includes wheel loaders, excavators, telescopic excavators and special metallurgical equipment.
