Tethys appoints representative in Tajikistan

Tethys Petroleum announced that, with effect from 6 July 2015, Ozodkhon Davlatshoev will join Tethys as director of the Representative Office of Tethys Tajikistan in Tajikistan.

Ozodkhon joins Tethys from the Industrial Promotion Services/Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development in Central Asia, where he was responsible for the development and execution of high profile investment projects in Central Asia in the fields of Energy, Telecommunications, Banking and Industrials.

In his new role, Ozodkhon will be responsible for liaising on behalf of Tethys with local government authorities and international organisations, co-ordinating with Bokhtar PSC partners’ representatives in Tajikistan, monitoring political, economic and security matters in-country and analysing future business opportunities in the region.
