Tendeka plans Mid-East expansion

Tendeka has announced plans to increase activity in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Tendeka is a provider of completions and reservoir monitoring products and services to the upstream oil and gas industry.

Several projects for Middle East-based operators have been undertaken in the past year at the company’s MENA base in Dubai.

Tendeka recently won a three-year contract with a major international oil and gas company in Qatar, providing Open Hole Isolation Packers.

“The last year, following on from the Arab Spring, has been one of considerable rebuilding and growth for us. However, we have established ourselves as a quality, customer-focused service company in the region,” said Tendeka’s vice president for MENA, Derren Simpson. “We see excellent opportunities for Tendeka in the Middle East going forward. We have received a number of inquiries from several companies about our DTS systems while we have identified many opportunities for our inflow control devices and sand screens.”
