Technip wins Petro-Canada work

Technip Offshore UK has won a contract with Petro-Canada for the pipelines and subsea infrastructure engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning associated with the Clapham development in the central North Sea. The work includes the installation and tie-back of a new subsea manifold to the Triton floating production vessel and the tie-back of four subsea production wellheads to the manifold. Technip Offshore UK’s involvement in the project follows its recent success in completing the subsea infrastructure contract for the neighbouring West Guillemot development, which is also operated by Petro-Canada. The project management team will be based in Aberdeen, and fabrication of the rigid flow lines will be carried out at the Evanton spoolbase.
