Technip wins Norsk Hydro contract

Technip-Coflexip, through its Norwegian affiliate Technip Offshore Norge AS, has been awarded by Norsk Hydro the EPCI contract for the Oseberg South – J Structure flowlines and umbilical. The contract, valued at EUR 23 million, includes two 8-inch rigid flowlines (production and water injection) and one umbilical running from the new Oseberg J template to the Oseberg South platform. Technip-Coflexip Norge AS in Oslo, Norway will perform the project management and engineering for the work. The steel flowlines will be welded at Technip-Coflexip’s spoolbase in Orkanger, Norway.
