Tata Power plans project in Delhi

Tata Power plans to develop a power generation plant in Bawana, Delhi, India. The company recently put forward its plans to set up a project of more than 1000MW to meet the growing energy demands of the state. Tata Power has its distribution network in the area, and the new plant is proposed to be set up within their distribution zone. The proposed plant will be solely dedicated to meet the power requirements of Delhi, which has to import more than 70% of its requirement.
