Oil and gas filed comes on stream in North Sea
Production on the Visund South oil and gas field in the North Sea has been started up by Statoil and partners. Visund South is the first of Statoil's fast-track portfolio projects.
"This is a milestone," said head of field development on Visund South, Hogne Pedersen in a press release.

A contract worth NOK 40 million for the Visund gas project in the North Sea has been awarded by operator Statoil to Heerema Marine Contractors Nederland BV.
ABB wins North Sea order
ABB has won a three-year, USD 80 million contract from Norsk Hydro (Norway) to design, construct and instal two large modules on the Visund oil platform in the North Sea.
