Valinox Nucléaire wins life extension contract
The Vallourec subsidiary, Valinox Nucléaire, will deliver premium tubes for a life extension project for the Bruce Power nuclear plant Valinox Nucléaire, specialized in tubes for nuclear power plants, has signed an important contract with the Canadian company BWXT Canada Ltd.
Valinox Nucléaire awarded two contracts
Vallourec's subsidiary specialising in the production of tubes for nuclear power plants, Valinox Nucléaire, has been contracted by AREVA to manufacture tubes for eight steam generators that will equip two EDF 1,300MW reactors.
The two contracts form part of EDF's programme, launched in 2011, to gradually replace the large components on its 1,300MW power plants.
Vallourec invests in Chinese nuclear
Vallourec subsidiary Valinox Nucléaire is set to build a new facility to produce steam generator tubes in Nansha, Guangdong province, in the South East of China.
