TUBACEX presents results aligning with its forecast
TUBACEX, the manufacturer of stainless steel and high-alloyed seamless tubes, has registered a total turnover of EUR 302.5M during the first half of 2015. This figure represents an increase of 9.4% with regard to the same period in 2014, including the integration of IBF and the seamless stainless steel tubes division of Prakash.
TUBACEX acquires Prakash Steelage
TUBACEX has completed the acquisition of 68% of the seamless stainless steel tubes division of the Indian company Prakash Steelage. With this operation, announced in February, the Spanish company also maintains a purchase option on the remaining 32%.
Tubacex acquires seamless tube business
Spanish company Tubacex, who specialize in the manufacture of stainless steel tubular solutions mainly for the oil & gas, petrochemical and power generation industries, has reached an agreement with Indian company PRAKASH STEELAGE to acquire 68% of its seamless stainless steel tube division, reinforcing the position of Tubacex in the fastest growing markets, especially Asia where the company plans to strengthen its presence with new commercial offices.

TUBACEX acquires IBF in Italy
TUBACEX, the manufacturer of seamless stainless steel tubes, has acquired 65% of the shares in the Italian company, IBF, and maintains a call option for the remaining 35%. A Letter of Intent was signed between the parties last July.
Tubacex CR lines restart
Spain-based stainless seamless tubemaker Tubacex expects production to restart shortly at two cold rolling lines at its Schoeller-Bleckmann Edelstahlrohr GmbH (SBER) subsidiary in Austria after they were damaged during a fire on 21 December.
Sales office opened in Shanghai
Tubacex, a seamless stainless steel tube manufacturer, has opened a new sales office in the Chinese city of Shanghai.
Managing the environment
Acería de Alava SA, a subsidiary of the Tubacex Group, has obtained ISO 14001 environmental management certification from AENOR, the Spanish Association for Standardisation and Certification.
