Transocean signs $830M drilling contract with Chevron
Transocean Ltd. recently announced that it has signed a rig design and construction management contract, as well as a five-year drilling contract, with Chevron USA, Inc.
Transocean appoints president & CEO
Transocean named Jeremy D. Thigpen as president and CEO effective 22 April 2015. Thigpen succeeds Ian C. Strachan, Interim CEO. As previously announced, Strachan, who is also the company's chairman of the Board of Directors, will retire from the Board at the end of his term at the 2015 Annual General Meeting following approximately 16 years of service.
Transocean to deliver 4 drillships
