In the latest move to restructure China's iron and steel industry, two of China's leading stainless steel companies Shanghai Baosteel Group Corp. and the Taiyuan Iron & Steel Co. Ltd have signed an agreement on strategic cooperation vowing to enhance their respective technological innovation capabilities and improve enterprise management.

Taigang Stainless Steel Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of Taiyuan Iron & Steel Co. Ltd, plans to set up a cold-rolling stainless steel company with a number of domestic partners in Taiyuan, capital of North China's Shanxi Province.
