Suncor announced James W. Simpson, a current member of the Board of Directors, as the new Board Chair following the retirement of John Ferguson in April.

Jacobs wins oil sands contract
The Canadian subsidiary of Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has won a contract from Suncor Energy to provide engineering and procurement services for the continued development of Suncor Energy's Firebag in situ oil sands Project.
