Sumitomo hires general work group
Sumitomo Metal Industries Ltd, together with Sumitomo Metals (Kokura) Ltd and Sumitomo Metals (Naoetsu) Ltd, has decided to hire approximately 100 "general work group" employees, to be trained and allocated as corporate resources, for fiscal year 2011.
Sumitomo wins awards
On 18 September Sumitomo Metal Industries Ltd (Sumitomo Metals), Sumitomo Metals (Naoetsu) Ltd (Naoetsu), and Sumitomo Metals (Kokura) Ltd (Kokura) received three awards at the 32nd Technical Development Awards from the Japan Institute of Metals as the Sumitomo Metals Group.
