OneSubsea forms global alliance with Subsea 7
OneSubsea®, a Cameron and Schlumberger company, signed an agreement establishing a worldwide non-incorporated alliance with Subsea 7 to jointly design, develop and deliver integrated subsea development solutions through the combination of subsurface expertise, subsea production systems (SPS), subsea processing systems, subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines systems (SURF), and life-of-field services.
The alliance will bring together Subsea 7’s experience and technology in seabed to surface engineering, construction and life-of-field services with OneSubsea’s unique reservoir expertise and state-of-the-art subsea production and processing systems technologies.
Wintershall awards subsea contract for Maria field
Wintershall, Germany’s largest internationally active oil and gas producer, awarded a major pipeline and subsea construction (PSC) contract to Subsea 7.
Subsea 7 awarded contract offshore Brazil
Subsea 7 has been awarded a contract worth approximately USD 200M with a duration of approximately two years. The contract is for the installation of flexible lines for Petrobras’ projects using Subsea 7’s construction and flex-lay vessel Seven Seas, on a day-rate basis.

Subsea 7 announced the re-appointment of Allen Stevens and Robert Long to the company’s Board of Directors with immediate effect.
Tata Steel to supply pipes to Subsea 7
Tata Steel has signed a series of contracts with Subsea 7 to supply undersea pipes to four separate North Sea projects.
Subsea 7 awarded two contracts offshore Brazil
Subsea 7 won two contracts from Petrobras worth (at the time of contract signature) in excess of USD 600M. The contracts are for operation of the Pipelay Support Vessels (PLSVs) Seven Mar and Seven Condor on a day-rate basis for approximately three years, with operations starting toward the end of 2013 for Seven Mar and in the third quarter of 2014 for Seven Condor.
Subsea 7 to build vessel for HHI
Subsea 7 SA announced that it has signed a contract to build a new heavy construction vessel scheduled for delivery in 2016. Korean company Hyundai Heavy Industries will be building the new vessel. Huisman will be providing the main crane and the vertical lay system.
KBR awards Subsea 7 for Chevron project
KBR today announced that it was selected by Subsea 7 to perform the topsides design for the Chevron Lianzi development project in a unitized offshore zone between the Republic of Congo and the Republic of Angola.

KBR will provide laser scanning of the entire Benguela Belize Lobito Tomboco topsides, FEED verification, detailed engineering and procurement services.
Superduplex pipes for the Knarr project
BG has contracted Subsea 7 to deliver a bundle solution for the development of the Knarr field. The bundle will be installed in 410m of water depth and will include flowlines for water injection, production and service as well as control tubing and electrical cables.
Subsea 7 awarded Lianzi topside contract
Subsea 7 S.A. has been awarded an EPCI topside contract valued at approximately $150 million from Chevron for the development of the Lianzi Field offshore the Republic of Congo and Angola.
The scope of work includes a 200 mT module hosting a high voltage generation system for the new subsea Direct Electrically Heated pipeline cable, an 80 mT flow meter deck extension, and various upgrades on the platform.
