IMCA names new chief executive
The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) has appointed Allen Leatt as Chief Executive. He will be joining on 1 October 2015 from Subsea 7, where he has been Senior VP for Engineering and Project Management.
IMCA has thousand-plus member companies in over 60 countries involved in underwater engineering, marine and offshore engineering.
KBR forms global alliance with Subsea 7
KBR and its wholly owned subsidiary Granherne have signed an agreement to form an alliance with Subsea 7 to deliver concept and front-end engineering and design (FEED) services to the global offshore oil and gas industry.
The alliance is a co-operation agreement between the companies where Granherne will support Subsea 7 on concept and FEED studies and Subsea 7 will support Granherne with subsea engineering and technology.
