South Stream approves OMK pipes for underwater use
The South Stream Transport company has certified large-diameter pipes produced by the United Metallurgical Company (OMK) from slabs supplied by NLMK.

The voestalpine Group secured its third major contract in the pipeline business. Following the first, now completed, contract for the Russian-European pipeline project South Stream, and for Rota 3, a pipeline project in Brazil, voestalpine will deliver 120,000 tons of sour-gas-resistant, high-strength linepipe plates for the second South Stream pipeline by spring 2015.

The voestalpine Group secured its second major pipeline contract this year after South Stream. voestalpine will deliver 120,000 tons of sour-gas-resistant, high-strength linepipe plates for the third Petrobras pipeline near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, by March 2015.
South Stream to sign pipe supply contracts
Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee participated in the Board of Directors meeting of the South Stream Transport B.V. joint company in Amsterdam to discuss the signing of the pipe supply contracts for its offshore section.
