Top platform at Separation Technology Symposium

The event, organised by Schmidt + Clemens, was described as a top platform by many of the managers and engineers that Stainless Steel World spoke to. They said the show was a great opportunity to see the latest developments in separation techniques, to network with peers, and also to see how new insights and materials could be of benefit to special applications. New S+C managing board partner

Mr Jan Schmidt-Krayer has officially joined the managing board of S+C. As managing partner, Mr Schmidt-Krayer will share the leadership of the tradition-rich company with Dr Henning Kreisel and Dr Klaus Hohenstein.

Welding technology treading new paths

As a result of employee proposals and consequential internal developments, S+C (Germany) has supplied a product which normally only can be achieved by big forges with an aggregate power of up to 6000 tons, using its own comparatively “weakâ€? 2000-ton forging press.
