A new datasheet on stainless steel seamless tubes for hydraulic and instrumentation systems is now available from Sandvik.
Sandvik to sponsor BSSA 2008
Sandvik is to sponsor the British Stainless Steel Association 2008 Conference, which is being held at the Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth, near Warwick this year .
Strip steel price increase
Sandvik has now fully implemented its intended price increase of up to 20% on all forms of stainless strip steel for razor blade manufacture, following a comprehensive review of raw material and manufacturing costs.

Sandvik has introduced a new welding strip titled Sandvik 24.29.5.Lcu, for overlay welding. Suitable for oil and gas applications, such as pipe and tube, heat exchangers as well as chemical plant and vessel repair.
Razor blade steel price increase
Sandvik has announced that it will introduce a price increase of 15-20% on its stainless strip steel for razor blade manufacture with effect from 1st November 2007.
Sandvik Sancrêpe blades approved
Sandvik has launched its Sancrêpe range of blades for tissue making.
Sandvik steel bar approved
Sandvik has received StatoiL approval for its stainless steel bar in full accordance with the Norsok M650 Rev 3 for use in oil and gas applications.
Steel belt cooling systems
Sandvik has supplied 12 dedicated steel belt cooling systems for a direct coal liquefaction process to the Shenhua Group, China’s largest coal producer.
Sandvik receives Sellafield order
The scope of Sandvik's specialist manufacturing capability for steel tubes for the power generation industry has resulted in a major order for British Nuclear Fuels' reprocessing plant at Sellafield in Cumbria, UK.
