Outotec awarded sulfuric acid plant contract

Outotec, specialist in minerals and metals processing technology, has recently agreed with Boliden, the Sweden-based mining and smelting company on the main design and delivery of proprietary equipment for a sulfuric acid plant to be built in connection with the Harjavalta nickel and copper smelter in Finland.

Mr. Robin Lindahl, Executive Vice President and President of Outotec's Metals, Energy & Water business has recently decided to leave Outotec to join Normet Group as their new President and CEO. He joined Outotec and the Executive Board in 2011.
