Raccortubi has announced its partnership with BUTTING for the distribution of longitudinally welded Butting pipes in Southeast Asia.

Raccortubi Group will be showcasing its fastest delivery possibilities at TUBE 2018 in Düsseldorf. In addition, the extensive availability of raw material in sheets and plates in duplex, super duplex and 6mo up to 50mm, and in titanium up to 15mm, allows for fulfilling deliveries in 4-6 weeks thanks to a dedicated production line at Petrol Raccord called Fast Track.

During the 9TH UK-ITALY BUSINESS AWARDS at Palazzo Mezzanotte (Milan), Raccortubi Group received the ELITE AWARD for excellence and entrepreneurship in its field.

On 23rd October, Raccortubi acquired Norsk Alloys, established in 2005 in Aberdeen (United Kingdom). Norsk Alloys Ltd focuses on the stockholding and supplying of specialist piping materials for the Oil & Gas industry, specifically for offshore platforms.

Raccortubi are pleased to announce the establishment of the Group’s newest addition: a branch office in the United Kingdom.

Raccortubi UK has been set up in order to provide Raccortubi Group with a local presence in the United Kingdom so as to better serve EPC contractors, fabricators and blue chip companies in the region.

It is with deep regret and heartfelt sadness that Raccortubi announces the passing away of PierGiorgio Pentericci, President of Raccortubi Group and father of Vice President Luca Pentericci. Over the course of his sixty years at Raccortubi, PierGiorgio Pentericci took the company on its journey from distributor of iron fittings to the stockist and manufacturer of piping materials that it is today.

On 24th December, Raccortubi, leading stockholder, manufacturer and supplier of piping materials, completed the acquisition of Petrol Raccord S.p.A., manufacturer of butt weld fittings for the oil & gas, power generation and petrochemical industries, in a deal to expand Raccortubi Group’s production range.Established in 1969, Petrol Raccord manufactures butt weld fittings up to 56â€?, almost without wall thickness limitations, and holds an impressive number of end-user approvals, as well as quality certification for the nuclear industry.

Raccortubi Group is pleased to announce that both Raccortubi do Brasil Ltda. and Raccortubi S.p.A., Group headquarters, have been granted Petrobras’ seal of approval and awarded the Certificado de Registro e Classificação Cadastral. This follows on from Petrobras’ recent technical approval of the butt weld fittings manufactured by the Group’s integrated Tecninox plant.
