POSCO partners with Geumgang to develop water reservoir

POSCO, a multinational steel-making company headquartered in Pohang, South Korea, signed a memorandum of understanding with Geumgang, a South Korean manufacturer of stainless steel water tanks and water pipes, on co-development and structure analysis of stainless steel water tanks for large-scale water reservoirs. POSCO named world’s most competitive steelmaker

The World Steel Dynamics (WSD), an information service provider that analyses the global steel market, held the thirtieth Steel Success Strategies (SSS) forum in June, and announced the results of World-Class Steelmaker Rankings.

POSCO signs MOA to sell its FINEX 1 plant

Multinational steel maker, POSCO will move to install its FINEX 1 plant with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons to the Indian private steel company, Mesco Steel. POSCO, which has comprehensively examined the application plan for facilities after completing the FINEX 1 plant in 2014, decided to move facilities in the Odisha region in India as a result of continued consultation with Mesco Steel.

Value improvement award for POSCO from Toyota
