POSCO partners with Geumgang to develop water reservoir
POSCO, a multinational steel-making company headquartered in Pohang, South Korea, signed a memorandum of understanding with Geumgang, a South Korean manufacturer of stainless steel water tanks and water pipes, on co-development and structure analysis of stainless steel water tanks for large-scale water reservoirs.

The existing large-scale water reservoirs are made of concrete, causing problems such as water leakage due to cracks and an unsanitary water supply environment.
Special reward for the first IP PJT
POSCO selected a team to receive a special reward for the first Innovation POSCO Project (IP PJT). POSCO selected the Steel Building Material Solution PJT Team as a winner pursuant to the increase of profitability of the company through differentiated ideas in order to respond to Chinese-made low-priced products, and awarded them at the Group Operations Meeting on 23 July.

POSCO signs MOA to sell its FINEX 1 plant
Multinational steel maker, POSCO will move to install its FINEX 1 plant with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons to the Indian private steel company, Mesco Steel. POSCO, which has comprehensively examined the application plan for facilities after completing the FINEX 1 plant in 2014, decided to move facilities in the Odisha region in India as a result of continued consultation with Mesco Steel.
Value improvement award for POSCO from Toyota
POSCO was the only overseas steel corporation to receive the 'Excellent Value Improvement Award' from Toyota Motors, the global automobile company, for the second year running. Toyota announced and awarded its excellent suppliers at the yearly Toyota global supplier convention in Nagoya.
