Petrobras has chosen SUEZ to provide desalinated water to 11 offshore oil platforms in the Campos Basin in the State of Rio de Janeiro.

Petrobras and Total inform that Pedro Parente, CEO of Petrobras, and Patrick Pouyanné, Chairman and CEO of Total, have recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding which sets the general framework for a Strategic Alliance covering upstream and downstream activities in Brazil as well as international potential opportunities in Rio de Janeiro.

Subsea 7 has been awarded a contract worth approximately USD 200M with a duration of approximately two years. The contract is for the installation of flexible lines for Petrobras’ projects using Subsea 7’s construction and flex-lay vessel Seven Seas, on a day-rate basis.

Praj Industries, a global process solutions company, won a EUR 30M order for oil & gas process skids for Petrobras, Brazil.QGIT, the main contractor for the Petrobras project in Brazil, has awarded the order for skids to Praj.

Raccortubi Group is pleased to announce that both Raccortubi do Brasil Ltda. and Raccortubi S.p.A., Group headquarters, have been granted Petrobras’ seal of approval and awarded the Certificado de Registro e Classificação Cadastral. This follows on from Petrobras’ recent technical approval of the butt weld fittings manufactured by the Group’s integrated Tecninox plant.

Tecninox, the integrated manufacturing plant within Raccortubi Group, has been awarded Petrobras’ technical approval for its butt weld fittings.
