NLMK, POSCO sign cooperation agreement

NLMK Group, Russian manufacturer of steel and HVA steel products, and South Korean POSCO Engineering and Construction signed a general agreement on strategic cooperation to jointly implement investment projects for modernising blast furnace, steelmaking and rolling operation at the Lipetsk production site.

NLMK, OMK renew slab contract

NLMK Group, Russia’s largest steelmaker, and OMK Group, Russia’s leading pipe manufacturer, signed a new agreement on long-term cooperation renewing the contract for the supply of slabs until and inclusive of 2016.

NLMK automotive sheets clear BSI audit

NLMK Group’s Lipetsk [N4] site cleared its recertification audit confirming compliance of its output with the ISO/TS 16949:2009 international standard for its quality management systems. NLMK no longer interested in Arcelor

The daily Les Echos reported that Russia's OJSC Novolipetsk Steel said that it is not interested in acquiring Arcelor, NLMK declined to comment on reports that its chairman, Mr Vladimir Lisin wants to buy a significant stake in the company.
