Aker Solutions has won a contract to supply a complete Pusnes wire mooring system for a cylindrical-shaped accommodation unit being built at Cosco Nantong Shipyard in China. The equipment includes three triple wire winches, three control cabins, nine wire fairleads, three hydraulic power units and the accompanying control system.

MODEC International LLC, a FPSO contractor, has awarded a subcontract to the Aker Kvaerner subsidiary, Aker Marine Contractors, for the BAOBAB FPSO project.
