Outokumpu production sites gain ISO 14001
Outokumpu has recently announced that the company’s integrated stainless steel plant in Calvert, Alabama, US, and stainless steel finishing plant in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, have gained ISO 14001 certification, the international standard for environmental management systems.
New business head at Outokumpu
Outokumpu announced the appointment of Michael Williams as the president and head of Business Area Coil Americas and member of the Outokumpu Leadership Team as of 1 July 2015. Williams has over two decades of experience in the metals industry, including sixteen years at US Steel where he held a number of senior leadership positions, as well as the position of the CEO in Ormet Corporation, an aluminium company.

ThyssenKrupp Mexinox, a subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp Stainless, has inaugurated a new bright annealing line in San Luis Potosi (Mexico).
