United States Steel Corporation has announced the retirement of Mario Longhi from the company on June 30, 2017. He stepped down as CEO on May 8, 2017, but he will remain on the board of directors and serve as an employee of the company, providing transitional support, until his retirement.
United States Steel Corporation President and CEO Mario Longhi announced that Nancy Sykes has been named vice president – human resources. In this position, she will be responsible for all facets of the company's human resources, as well as medical and health services.
