WISCO developing in Canada and Cameroon
WISCO has signed an agreement with Canadian miner, Adriana Resources Inc. to jointly develop the LacOtelnuk iron ore program in Quebec, Canada. The mine has a total reserve of 6 billion mt of magnetic concentrate with 30% iron content.
LKAB applies for test permit
Sweden-based LKAB has applied for a permit from the County Administrative Board of Norrbotten, Sweden, to start test mining an iron ore body of 300,000mt in Mertainen, near Svappavaara.
