Mittal announces final approval and timetable
Mittal Steel Co. NV (Mittal Steel) has announced that the Luxembourg Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier, the Belgian Commission Bancaire, Financière et des Assurances, the Spanish Comision Nacional del Mercado de Valores and the French Autorité des marchés financiers have approved the second Information Document Supplement relating to Mittal Steel’s recommended offer for Arcelor on 4 July 2006.

Mittal Steel has announced that following coordination among the European regulators, the information document relating to its offer for Arcelor shares and convertible bonds was approved by the Luxembourg Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier, the Belgian Commission Bancaire, Financière et des Assurances and the French Autorité des marches financiers.
Mittal Steel announces new steps in the offer
Mittal Steel has announced, on 16 February, that the Belgian Commission Bancaire, Financière et des Assurances has published its notice relating to Mittal Steel’s proposed offer for Arcelor.
